Three Antique Egg Candy Containers
Item Details
An allotment of three antique candy containers. Shaped as eggs. these containers come apart at their seams. At one time, these eggs held some type of sweet confectionary. Each egg is constructed of a paper coating over a thin tin material. These eggs differ in colors and patterns and appear to be from the early 1900s with an art nouveau influence. No maker’s name or mark identified.
Condition
-two of the containers are difficult to open
-edge and surface age wear
-bold colors retained
