A circa 20th century restrike etching titled A Breach of Promise after listed artist Walter Dendy Sadler (1854 – 1923). The genre scene depicts a grouping of aristocratic figures in conversation. It is signed in plate to the lower left with a printed title in the lower margin. The piece is presented beneath a white mat in a wooden frame.

Condition

- to poor; deep scratches to the frame; the glass is broken; foxing and discoloration to the paper support.
