(5) Vintage Detroit Tigers Programs

Item Details

The Detroit Tigers are one of the most storied franchises in all of Major League Baseball. Up for bid are (5) Detroit Tigers Publications. The first is an official Score Book from 1969. This Publication is in very good condition, the binding is strong and there is a small amount of wear. The previous owner wrote the players names and positions in the Score Section, but that’s all he/she wrote. They did not keep score in the book. They were playing the Boston Red Sox. A 1978 Score book and official program is the next item. They played Boston and it is scored in, with pencil. The program is in very good condition. This 1983 Program was signed on its cover, it appears, by the Tiger fan who attended the game. In this Score Book, they were playing the Chicago White Sox. Other than the signature on the cover, it is in very good condition and it has not been scored. The next item is a 1984 American League Championship Series program. This Series was between the Tigers and the Kansas City Royals. The Tigers went on to not only defeat the Royals, but they went on to win the World Series that year. This Program has some water damage on the back and on the inside back pages. None are torn, but are wrinkled and discolored. The last yearbook is from 1985, it’s in very good condition. The 1978, ‘84 and ’85 each measure 8.5’ wide x 11’ long. The 1983 is 8.25’ wide x 11’ long. The 1969 program measures 7’ wide x 10’ long.
