1998 "Ardmore: An African Discovery" by Gillian Scott and Signed Jar
Item Details
A signed Ardmore Ceramics hand painted art pottery jar. The jar features a black glazed fitted lid with yellow and red polka dots and similarly painted loop handles to opposite sides, each adorned with sculpted and applied ceramic black and white spotted guinea fowl. The jar has a bulbous shape with hand painted blue flowers and depictions of guinea fowl on a cream ground. It is signed ‘PTD by Angel’ and dated ‘2000’ to the underside.
