Vintage G. Fox & Co. Spool-Turned and Mirrored Vanity

Item Details

A vintage G. Fox & Co. spool-turned and mirrored vanity. The hardwood, maple-stained frame features a tilting mirror with a pair of spool-turned uprights continuing to a serpentine gallery backing a rectangular, molded top. Directly below is a single machine-dovetailed, frieze drawer over a serpentine, front apron and the vanity rises on spool-turned legs. The back retains a label plaque for ‘G. Fox & Co. / Hartford, Conn.’ with stamps reading ‘No. 341’ and ‘KMF’.

Condition

- scattered scratches, scuffs, and nicks; top with moisture stains/finish losses; bottom of drawer is warped and separated along back edge.
