French Style Metal and Wicker Baker's Rack

A French style metal and wicker baker’s rack. The patinated, metal frame features a central, arched crest with a scrolled-foliate element, which is flanked by a pair of brass-tone finials. Directly below are three open, wooden shelves supported by vertical wires in the back and serpentine stiles. The stiles continue to a projecting, rectangular work surface resting on three aligned and removable, basket-form drawers. The wicker base has a two-door cabinet and the baker’s rack rises on tubular, stile legs ending in brass-tone caps. It is unmarked by the maker.
