A charcoal drawing on certificate paper by American artist Edgar Yaeger (1904-1997). This loose, gestural study depicts two figures, one seated and one reclining, in an environment of draped cloth. It is drawn on the back of a printed certificate template that guarantees the quality of a diamond purchased from Jefferson Jewelry & Optical Co.
