A signed antique handwoven Linsey-Woolsey jacquard blue and white coverlet. The item comes from a Scottish-English tradition, and is handmade into a strong, coarse material from a cotton warp and a woolen weft. It has a repeating geometric motif in indigo and white and is initialed ‘JE -1’ in brown thread to the corner.
