A set of four circa 1960s lithograph prints on paper created by German artist Erhard Kirschstein (1920-1972), each depicting a Berlin architectural landmark. Prints include Luftbrückendenkmal, Berlin; Brandenburger Tor, Berlin; Siegessäule, Berlin and Kaiser-Wilhelm Kirche, Berlin. Depicted landmarks include the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Victory Column and the Berlin Airlift Memorial. Each work is signed in plate to either the lower left or lower right, and additionally signed and titled by hand to the matting. The prints are presented under cream matting in matching wooden frames, each fitted with a hanging tab.
Condition
- faint discoloration and foxing to paper and mats; minor edge wear to frames.
