An engraving on paper titled in German Der Zinsgroschen (‘The Tribute Money’) by German artist Adam Goswin Glaser (1815-1900) after Italian painter Titian (c.1488-1576). This piece depicts a pharisee handing a coin to Jesus in an illustration of a passage from the Gospel. It is titled to the lower margin with the artists’ names to the lower corners. It is presented behind a mat and glass in a gold tone frame with molded garland ornamentation and wire to the verso for hanging.

- accretion to glass; light wear to frame finish.
