A graphite and pastel portrait of a figure in a hat by an artist appearing to sign and date the work ‘E. Sterlin, 77.’ This work is rendered with short, confident lines and depicts the man with a simplified bouquet of flowers in his arms. The drawing is signed somewhat illegibly toward its lower right and is matted under glass in a molded frame with a hanging wire to its verso.

Condition

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; light wear to frame finish; wear to frame verso.
