A limited edition lithograph on rag paper titled International Conference on Population, 1984 created by well-listed sculptor, painter and printmaker Chaim Gross (Austrian/American, 1904 – 1991), and printed by Emiliano Sorini Studio of New York. The piece depicts various male and female figures overlapped with imagery that includes a boat, a blue sky with large yellow sun and a city skyline with tall skyscrapers. The work is signed by hand to the lower right and numbered as 364 out of an edition of 1000, with adjacent blind stamps for Emiliano Sorini Studio and the World Federation of the United Nations Association (WFUNA). The print is marked with a 1984 ‘United Nations International Conference on Population’ twenty-cent postage stamp to the lower left and stamped ‘United Nations, NY 10017, Feb 3, 1984 – First Day of Issue’. The piece is matted in white and presented under glass in a moulded wooden frame with silver tone finish, fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes print documentation from the WFUNA, dated February 1, 1984.

- faint discoloration; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; minor edge wear to frame.
