Hand-Painted Thomasville Cabinet
Item Details
A hand-painted Thomasville cabinet. The yellow painted entertainment armoire has ornate crown molding above a cabinet with arched panels, a lower cabinet with raised panels and exposed hinges, and it rests on bracket feet. The upper cabinet contains a raised shelf for a television with a pull-out tray and a drawer for entertainment media, cut-outs in the back for power cords, a power switch, and an outlet, and a single shelf in the cabinet below. The front of the entertainment cabinet is hand-painted with a variety of motifs, including stripes, checkerboards, trees, and flowers, and the ceramic knobs are hand-painted with black and white checkerboard patterns trimmed with metallic gold paint. There is a label on the back marked ‘Thomasville’.
