Antique Oak Sutherland Table
Item Details
An antique oak Sutherland table, a form of gate leg table named for Harriet, Duchess of Sutherland (1806-1868). The table features a narrow, rectangular top supported by a pierced trestle style base with key mortice and tenon joinery. It includes two drop leaves that form a round top supported by turned gate legs. There are no visible maker’s marks.
