Ironstone Pitcher and Slop Jar
Item Details
An ironstone pitcher and slop jar. Each piece displays a multicolored floral and leaf motif design with hand-painted accents against a white ground accented with burgundy bands. The pitcher and bucket are applied with side handles. Each piece bears the maker’s mark to the underside. The bucket features a Maddock & Co. mark, while the remaining pieces are Knowles Taylor and Knowles.
Condition
-to fair: crazing; surface wear and marks throughout, signs of wear are consistent with use.
