Vintage Dutch Baroque-Style Side Table with Extensions
Item Details
A vintage Dutch Baroque-Style side table with side extensions. This expertly-crafted table features a book-matched walnut veneer top with scalloped tray sides, a single inset drawer with a burl veneer face and dovetail joinery, ornate cast brass handles, and an elaborate escutcheon with the original key. Side leaves extend by pulling on a small brass ring. The table is raised on four cabriole legs over ball and claw feet and finished to the backside. It was imported from Holland in the mid 20th century and bears no discernible maker’s marks. Companion pieces can be found in listings 18CIN177-001, -002, and -003.
