Item Details

A hand-knotted Persian Sarouk wool area rug. This rug has an allover floral spray motif in a palette of deep blue, indigo, camel, dark red, and sage green with a variegated red field. The main deep blue palmette border is flanked by camel brown floral secondary borders with guard borders having a meandering carnation motif. The rug is finished with hand overcast selvedge edges with short natural cotton warp fringe to one end.
