A sterling silver casserole spoon by Towle Silversmiths. This is in the Henry C. Quincy and E.H. Colby designed Mary Chilton pattern, first introduced in 1912, which features a squared bowl on a flared handle with a tapered tip and a threaded border. It is marked to the back of the handle, ‘925/1000’, ‘Pat 1912’, and ‘Sterling’ along with the maker’s mark. The approximate weight is 2.850 ozt.
