A 2018 acrylic painting on canvas titled Lucy and Ethel by contemporary Cincinnati artist Kaitlin Roberts, from her Rural Series. The painting depicts two cows, loosely rendered in pink and purple and outlined in white, standing in a green pasture on a bright day. The work is signed in white pigment to the lower left. The title, series, medium and date are indicated to the verso. The gallery wrapped canvas is presented without framing, and is ready to hang.

Roberts is a Kentucky native who currently lives and works in the historic neighborhood and arts district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, living in a century-old building that overlooks the city. In addition to her artistic background, Roberts is a creative writer and holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Kentucky.
