A Chinese watercolor painting of koi. This work depicts a cluster of orange-and-white fish rising to the surface of the water, the colors rendered in painterly washes of bright color. The painting features a line of calligraphic text to its upper right along with a red signature seal, and is presented behind green matting with a stamp to its verso indicating it was sold originally by J. & M. Gallery in Hong Kong.

- wear to edge of mat; yellowing tape to verso of painting .
