A circa 1960s limited edition lithograph on paper created by artist Keith Llewellyn de Carlo (Panamanian American, 1925 – 1981). The piece depicts a stylized black horse running in side profile against a mottled background of overlapping tan, black and red hues. The print is signed ‘de Carlo’ by hand to the lower right and numbered to the lower left as 119 out of an edition of 275. It is matted in brown and presented under glass in a wooden frame with gold tone finish, fitted with a sawtooth hanging tab to the verso. The frame backing includes a certificate of authenticity from The Collector’s Guild Ltd. of New York.

Condition

- faint discoloration to print; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; minor edge wear and scratches to frame; tape and discoloration to frame backing.
