A hand-knotted Indo-Persian silk blend prayer rug. This rug features a coppery-orange mihrab field with a floral vase motif in a palette of ivory, pale blue, marigold, indigo, and light green. It has ivory corner treatments with blossoming branches, and main floral and foliate border, flanked by ivory-grounded floral guard borders. The rug is finished in selvedge edges and natural cotton warp fringe.
