Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Sarouk style wool runner. This runner has three star-shaped floral medallions with curved lancet leaves and palmettes in a palette of ivory, reddish-brown, crimson, light green, pale blue, and pink against a deep blue field. It has a pink main border with a meandering carnation motif, flanked by ivory-grounded floral guard borders. The rug is finished in hand-overcast edges with natural warp fringe and a short kilim strip to one end.
