A landscape painting by Ohioan Conn Baker (1871 – 1944). Baker was a world-record bicycle racer known as the Columbus Flyer, a circus performer billed as the amazing Diavolo, and a distinguished artist who ended his career as a state auditor. This piece is an oil on canvas depicting rural landscape scene with a house to the middle and a pond to the foreground. Signed to the bottom right. The piece is housed in a wooden frame with hanging wire to verso.
