Terracotta Moravian Pottery Tiles
Item Details
A set of terracotta Moravian Pottery tiles, the first featuring a square terracotta tile of a bunny. The back of this tile is stamped with the Moravian backstamp. The next tile is of Libra, in a blueish-green glaze. The tile features the scales to the center, with ‘SEP’ to one side ‘OCT’ to the other. To the top of the tile is the Moravian stamp, as well as to the back of the tile. Included is a ceramic Toucan figurine in a grey glaze with a dark red bill. The Toucan does not appear to be signed. A Schramberg Handbemalt vase is also included. The vase has a light pink matte glaze, with a series of pastel lines going from the shoulder to the lip of the vase. This vase is stamped to the bottom ‘Schramberg Handbemalt’ and is incised with ‘6627’.
