An architectural engraving titled Veduta di Piazza Novona and attributed in plate to ‘L. Rossini,’ likely listed Italian artist Luigi Rossini (1790-1857). This print depicts a city square filled with carts, merchants and crowds of people, a pair of figural fountains also present in the midst of them. The print is marked ‘Veduta di Piazza Novona, Antico Circo Agonale’ to the center of its lower margin with printer’s information to either side. It is matted under protective glazing in a black and gold tone frame with a hanging wire to its verso.
