A large Indian pichhwai painting featuring Lord Krishna playing a veena with four female musicians. Krishna is depicted dancing in the center with blue skin and ornate garments while holding a saraswati veena (वीणा) chordophone. He is joined on the banks of a lotus pond by four elegantly dressed women playing a mridangam drum, manjira small cymbals, and tampura stringed instruments. Unsigned.

Condition

- some fading throughout the image area; some creases/fold marks throughout the image area; some scuffing around the outside edges of the edges.
