Pair of Wooden Models of British Sailing Ships "Cutty Sark" and HMS "Victory"

A pair of British sailing ship models. This lot features a wooden model of the British clipper ship Cutty Sark, with three square-rigged masts with white striped cloth sails, over a black hull striped hull labeled ‘Cutty Sark – 1869’, on a beveled wooden base with a nameplate. Also included is a smaller wooden model of the HMS Victory, the British Ship of the Line that served as Lord Nelson’s flagship in the Napoleonic era; this model features three square-rigged masts with British flags and cloth striped sails, over a four-deck hull with forty-eight guns, brass-toned and metal accents and anchor, and a beveled wooden base with a brass-toned plaque reading ‘HMS Victory.’
Condition
- “Cutty Sark” nameplate has tarnish; minor wear to both pieces overall.
