A Anna Sandhu Ray (American, 1946 – ) watercolor and gouache painting. The artwork utilizes loose brushstrokes in a cool palette of pinks and purple. The piece is signed and dated 2002 at lower right. Presented behind glass with white matting and silver tone composite frame.

Anna Sandhu Ray, once married to James Earl Ray, began painting at the age of five and is now well known for her work with acrylics on canvas, using a method she dubbed “controlled splattering” in order to create a stained glass type of look with a soft yet colorful impression of scenic features.
