A reproduction engraving on laid paper titled ‘Prospect des Kornmarckts zu Basel’ drawn by M. Jacob Meyer in 1651. This print depicts the market and town square in the Swiss town of Basel. It is titled and captioned in German to the lower margin and has the artist’s name printed to the lower right. This print is presented behind a mat and glass in a thin painted wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

- chips and wear throughout frame; water spots on backing paper on verso of frame.
