A 20th-century oil painting of a wolf attack on canvas. This piece depicts a small pack of wolves descending on a horse-drawn sleigh, its drivers retaliating with long-barreled pistols. The wintry scene is rendered with a warmish palette and has an obscured signature to its lower right corner. This painting is unframed but has a length of twine for hanging to its verso.

- fair; over-painting to signature at lower right; some discoloration to varnish; stretcher marks; marks along edges from previous frame rub; abrasions and wear particularly along edges of canvas.
