A hand-knotted Moroccan style wool area rug. This rug features a hexagonal medallion with hooked borders, patterned with a central floral medallion and florets in a palette of teal, marigold yellow, apricot, ivory, and sienna brown on a peach-colored field. To the outside edges of the main field are repeating squares of stylized flowers, bordered by a green sawtooth edge. The rug has a main border with an eight-pointed star and floral motif, double selvedge edges, and tied natural wool warp fringe.
