A limited edition Japanese sōsaku hanga woodblock print on paper titled Autumn Insects (秋蟲) by listed American-Japanese artist Ansei Uchima (内間安瑆, California/New York/Japan; 1921 – 2000). This relief print from multiple blocks depicts blades of tall grass in a field, rendered in the warm color palette of a sunset. The work is signed in graphite in the lower right margin and dated 1962. It is hand-numbered 31 in an edition of 150 and titled in English and Japanese. It is presented loose, unframed.
