Late Victorian Style Stag Soup Tureen
Item Details
A metal stag soup tureen. This piece is made from a metal alloy in the style of the late nineteenth century. It has been hand tooled with a band of decoration to the body and lid and features a footed form with two scrolled handles. The domed lid is adorned with a seated stag finial. No discernible maker’s marks were noted and no clear artist or age attribution could be made.
