This Impressionist style painting depicts a cluster of stone buildings with red and orange tiled roofs obscuring the view of a cathedral in the distance, with a cobblestone walkway winding into the composition from the foreground. To the lower right corner is an artist signature. The painting is presented under glass beneath matting in a dark wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
