Chinese Yixing Style Ceramic Teapots
Item Details
A selection of three Chinese Yixing style ceramic teapots featuring a cuboid piece with embossed characters to the sides, a stepped lid, an angled handle, and a small spout. Also included are square and circular teapots with dark red glaze over curved panels of brown clay with embossed scroll and textured patterns. The oblate piece offers teapot form appliques with swirling designs in shades of brown. The pieces have incised production stamps to the underside and were produced from the purple clay of Yixing County in the Jiangsu Province of China.
