French Sarreguemines Faience Slop Pail and Earthenware Vase
Item Details
A French faience slop pail and earthenware vase. The selection features a French Sarreguemines slop pail in white ceramic finished with embossed pink and orange daffodils with olive green leaves and vines and decorative knob style side handles to accomodate a handle. The maker’s mark is partially visible as ‘Sarreguemines’. The selection also includes an earthenware vase with an urn shape and a deep blue finish with embossed decorative gold tone designs on the body and base. There are no apparent makers marks.
Condition
- to poor, planter needs to be cleaned and is visibly cracked and repaired in several places; vase is cracked and repaired, with chips missing.
