Item Details
A selection of antique porcelain plates by Tressemann & Vogt of Limoges, France. The group includes one charger and six small plates, featuring pale green backgrounds with different painted seashells accented with gilt details, as well as a gilt trim to the slightly scalloped rim. The undersides are stamped with a green mark reading, ‘T & V, Limoges France, Depose’ which was used between 1892 to 1907 and indicates that the pieces were sold as blanks for other studios to decorate.
