Antique Stoneware Pottery "Mercury" Crock
Item Details
A five-inch antique stoneware storage jug. This early 1900s brown and white colored crock has the word ‘Mercury’ on its front in blue letters. The underside is marked ‘U.S.A. 5.’ The original Albany slip glaze color stops near the middle portion of its body. The top has a ring pattern and at one time may have been displayed at on the counter of a drug or general store.

-tiny chip located at the top rim
-colors are bold
-slight soiling
-wear consistent with age
