Antique Japanese Wakizashi Sword Blade
Item Details
An antique Japanese wakizashi sword blade in a wooden scabbard. The sword has two holes in the nakago (tang) and has an impressed mark with a character inside a circle surrounded by leaves. The scabbard has the mon (crest) of the Tokugawa shoguns with three hollyhock leaves in a circle.
Condition
- some dings to blade edge
- extensive wear to the scabbard with loss of outer coating
