Item Details

A collection of character jugs by Royal Doulton. Included are a Viscount Montgomery of Alamein D6850 character jug, copyright 1989, a Mad Hatter D6602 jug, copyright 1970, and a Town Crier D6920 jug, copyright 1992. There are an Elf D6942 jug, copyright 1993, a George Washington jug D6822, copyright 1988, and three vintage Toby Philpot, Sam Weller, and Beefeater character jugs with maker’s marks dating them 1939-55. All of the mugs bear maker’s marks to the underside.
