A mixed media Save the Whales poster on board designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000). The print features lithograph and offset lithograph print techniques, detailed with foiled silver detailing. This piece depicts several blimp-like whales floating in front of a line of tall buildings, the words ‘Save the Whales’ in blue toward the lower edge. It is mounted in a black metal frame with a hanging wire to its verso.

Condition

- fair; scuff mark along right side of ground; surface abrasion at top left on ground; residue along bottom portion and top right portion of ground; general wear to frame.
