Vintage Rococo Revival Style Marquetry Center Table

Item Details

A vintage Rococo Revival style marquetry center table. The mixed wood frame features a turtle-shaped, burl-veneered top with molded edges centered by an inlaid medallion with a floral urn. Directly below is a pierced, elaborately-carved apron with scrolled-foliates and rose heads. The table rises on scrolled legs ending in elevated, volute feet. There is an illegible pencil inscription on the underside of the top, otherwise it is unmarked by the maker.
