A hand colored etching by well-listed French artist Charles Cobelle (1902-1994) titled Merri-Go-Round. The works of Cobelle, who studied privately with Marc Chagall among others, are characterized by thin line work over broad patches of color, a style evidenced in this piece, which exhibits bold yellows, blues, oranges, greens, and reds punctuated by black line detail. The print is signed by hand to the lower right corner and editioned by hand 64/400 to the lower left corner. The print is housed in a white wooden frame under matboard and glass.
