A New Haven Clock Company mantel clock. The clock is a tambour style and features a wood case with a mahogany inlay and a curved bonnet with sloping side panels. The clock has a brass framed glass front door that displays a silvertone face with black Roman numerals and an Arabic minute dial, an etched floral design on the center and black serpentine hands with key arbors. Other features of the clock include an 8-day time and strike, weight driven movement with chimes and chime shut off and the clock stands on a plinth style base with an embossed decorative design and bracket feet. The clock is marked ‘New Haven Clock Co.’ on the verso.
