A vintage hand-knotted Persian Heriz Serapi area rug. This rug features a star pendant medallion in black, khaki, rust, and tan on a rust field. The medallion is surrounded by curvilinear vines and stylized palmettes and flower blossoms, framed by a wide floral primary border in complementary colors. It has a thick, short natural wool warp fringe to either end.
