A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar area rug. The wool pile rug features a geometric pattern on rust field with center medallion with pendants, decorative spandrels on indigo field and unresolved compound border. The rug is woven in palette of rust, indigo, cream, tan, green and blue and it is finished with cropped natural cotton warp fringe. The rug is unsigned.
