Item Details
An East Indian painted folding screen. The three-panel hinged screen is made of wood, with arched tops and side rails that have applied, textured circle and dot patterns, and the panels are painted red, with intricate and colorful painted images of men and women riding camels and elephants. The panels have arches at the bottoms and the screen rests on slightly tapered, square legs. No maker’s marks.
