Vintage Hand-painted Porcelain Moriage Ewers
Item Details
A pair of early 20th century porcelain ewers featuring hand-painted pink roses in diamond cartouches with foliate and scalloped moriage on deep red ground and dimensional white fretwork to the light blue sections. The applied scroll handle leads to a gilt band around the neck under the curvilinear rim. There are no visible maker’s marks but the vintage pieces were likely produced in the first quarter of the 20th century.

- marks to underside rims; wear to gilding; variations in blue tone between the two pieces.
