Semi-Antique Hand-Knotted Persian Mehriban Accent Rug
Item Details
A semi-antique Persian Mehriban accent rug. This wool rug is hand knotted in a palette of cranberry, charcoal, teal and camel. It features a densely patterned interplay of floral sprays, lancet leaves, palmettes and vasiforms over a restored ruby field. The field is framed by compound borders, including a stylized herati primary border over charcoal. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at each end with wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
